Admission Processes at Nawa
Nawa Academy prides itself on a thorough admission process. We recognize the importance of your child's education. That is why we strive to accept students who will benefit from our exciting educational opportunities.
Here are the steps to follow during the admission process:
- Contact the Office of Admissions to request an admissions packet.
- Upon receipt of this information, review and contact us with additional questions.
- Fill out the application and return it to the Office of Admissions.
- Send the Transcript Release Form to the applicant's current school (they will then send us the official transcript information).
- Once we receive the completed application, we will contact you regarding any additional information needed.
- Contact the Office of Admissions to schedule a tour and interview (tours are only offered between Monday and Friday at 9:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m.).
- If you are unable to make it for an in-person interview, contact us to discuss options.
- During the tour and interview process, you can expect the process to take approximately two hours. During the tour of the campus (wear comfortable walking shoes) you will have the opportunity to meet many of our teachers, administrators and students, and will be shown classrooms, student living quarters, the recreational center and the cafeteria.
- Upon completion of the interview, you will be contacted and informed of the applicant's status of acceptance.
- Once the applicant has been accepted, additional information will be sent to you regarding important dates, registration, and money owed.
- If applying for the school year a $1,000 Entrance and Orientation Fee is required to reserve a space. This is a one-time fee and is in addition to the listed room, board, and tuition.
- If applying to 3HG Enterprises Inc. Nawa Summer Programs, a $500 deposit is required to reserve a space in the specified program. This deposit is subtracted from the listed cost of the program.
- Please note that both the summer spaces and boarding school spaces are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Nawa Academy offers a unique educational experience for students from other countries who desire to learn in a safe and challenging college preparatory school. We are accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and are a member of the Small Boarding Schools Association. We are known for providing a highly individualized and successful educational experience. Our low student to teacher ratio enables faculty to give significant attention to each student. This individualized teaching can be important for international students who are developing their English, or who just need the extra guidance to aid in the transition to a new school and culture.
For the past 20 years, students at Nawa Academy have experienced academic
success and realized their dream of attending a college or university.
We recognize that the process of selecting and applying to the right college or university is overwhelming for many families. Our goal is to facilitate a transition for each graduate that best matches needs, interests, support, and the opportunity for success. To accomplish this, our Dean's Department works with juniors (grade 11) and seniors (grade12) to identify the right fit. .
